OUR MISSION
Helping Hands Feeding Children's mission is to alleviate hunger in the desert areas of Southern California with a heart of compassion and hands of integrity and respect. We strive to meet the immediate needs of our economically depressed communities through working with local businesses and residents. We help develop a sustainable program that leads to self reliance while making a positive, healthy impact in our children's lives. Helping Hands' volunteers thrive to enforce healthy living to abused women and children, seniors, and homeless.
How We Work
Helping Hands Feeding Children has a food drive every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Anybody that needs assistance feeding themselves or their family is welcome. If it is between food drives and somebody requests our help, we will NOT turn them away empty handed. They will receive something to eat no matter what day it is. We try our best to always keep our pantry full with canned goods and non perishable items. We also have fresh produce and meats. We accept donations of food, clothing, household items, and anything that may be needed. We also hold other events that help the people in need in our community, such as back to school events where youth receive school supplies, Holiday events where we give food, toys and other holiday items to families in need, as well as many other events.
Who We Are
Helping Hands Feeding Children is a non profit organization. We are a dedicated team of volunteers that are determined to help feed as many hungry and needy people in our community as possible. Anybody and everybody that comes to us for help, will receive it. We are determined to help improve our community in any way possible.
What We Believe
Here at Helping Hands Feeding Children, we believe that anybody in need of assistance should receive it. We believe that nobody should have to go hungry. We are determined to do our part to better our community, and no matter what it looks like, we WON'T quit!
